Turning right off the main hall, you make your way down a staircase and into a corridor lined with flickering candles on great brass sconces and the occasional suit of armor. You hear the muted sounds of a raucous party as you pass a large painting on the wall. The man at the table in the back waves cheerfully, and several of his fellow revelers toast your health as you move beyond the frame. Arriving at an ancient, ornately carved armoire, you ignore the potted leafy nibbler snapping playfully at your ankles as you give the password for this term, "meles meles". The doors of the armoire swing open to reveal a portal leading to the cheerily lit Hufflepuff common room. You enter.
