Personal Goals in LIfe

Every one should have personal goals and objectives in life. To become more focused you need to able to see what direction your life is going and be able to take charge of it. Reflect of what has gone on in the past and say to yourself do you what the same to continue. If you not, ask in what way you want your life to improve and how you want it to be done. Remember nothing is too difficult to acheive, it may just take longer to acheive your goals.
Realise that you may not be the only in the same situation so it is a good idea to get help from others either through a self-help group or through a course. No-one should be ashamed of asking for help or guidance from others. One way of getting more control of your life is that you have to learn to say no, you cannot please everyone and if you said yes to everyone you will end up mentally and physically exhausted. You have rights as an individual and they must be respected and you cannot help others if you are ill yourself.
Learn to prioritise and manage your time better in way you will be able to acheive more if you were more organised.
You should also have time for yourself, find your own space where you can relax or rest at least once or twice a day so you can recharge your batteries.
Remember that you are an unique and very special person, a person of worth and have gifts that you can share with the rest of society.
Learn to live one day at a time and not worry about tomorrow, live in the present but be mindful of the future. Be informed so that you can be more of control of life and find what help there is for you to do that.
Become empowered and do not let people pull you down in the way they belitte you. Ignore them and you will become a stronger person because of this.
