1.) No difficult color-coordination choices in the morning.
2.) Easy to take care of: ink, food, and blood stains are hardly noticable.
3.) I'm easily distracted by bright colors.
Once, during my brief stay in college, I played a hippie in a theatre-class sketch. For a costume, I borrowed a tie-dyed shirt from a friend, and decided to wear it around all day for convienience.
I didn't get a damn thing done all morning. "Well, the real problem with the government is... that... my god, this shirt is so bright!" By the time the sketch was over and I could rush back to my dorm room and change, I had a killer headache.
