This is the encylopedia project concerning the various ways the planet earth could be destroyed or the human race could end. Submissions are invited. Hoovooloo has gratiously donated the first of what we hope to be many articles in the tradition of Douglas Adams whose Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy was inspired from his own idea entitled The Ends of the Earth. The Vogon constructor fleet was his first idea for ending the world and the book wrote itself (with DNA's help) from that point on. He never returned to that premise. So here without futhur ado is

We shall make a divison between the earth ending and the human race ending. If one of these items takes your fancy, write an article on it and submit it to the encylopedia project. For ideas on other topics see the Showtime Science Fiction Series Odyssey 5, which has 5 astronauts traveling back in time to prevent the destruction of the earth that they witness from their shuttle. Many different scenarios are considered during this show which has not run to completion yet. Another souce of doomsday material is the newsgroup alt.destroy.the.earth. There are many amateur and adolescent prattlings going on there but also some serious people who have thought this out more than you or I. Some of these people seem mentally unstable, but that is for you to judge and pluck material for this project from. Happy hunting.
