The Village of Condicote

0 Conversations

I live in a small village called Condicote, in the English Cotswolds. About 100 people live in Condicote, most of which are either retired or commute to jobs in local towns.
Condicote has a long history. We have an ancient henge: a stone circle dating back to the time of Stonehenge. We also have an iron-age camp, and the Ryknild Street Roman Road goes through the village. Our parish church, St Nicholas', dates back over 1000 years.
We have just set up our own website, www.condicote.freeserve.co.uk, to promote the village and to share information within the village. Many villagers use the Internet, helping this tiny English hamlet to become a part of the Global Village.
