Scottish Kiss.
The Scots have long been stereotyped as "bloody 'el 'ooligans," and have consequently brought much with that title. One of "all things Scottish" is the popular Scottish Kiss.
A Scottish Kiss is a head-butt. It was made popular, or at least more well-known, by the Canadian comedian Mike Meyers in the Saturday Night Live series of skits entitled "Scottish Soccer Hooligans Weekly." Meyers would often offend the guest of the skit and try to make up with a polite (paraphrasing here)
---Aw, c'mon. Give us a kiss---
Then he would proceed to grab the guest by the head and engage in some serious skull-cracking. So here's to Mike Meyers: I'm so grateful to you for popularizing the Scots that I could kiss you. C'mon, give us a kiss.
