Wind Resistance

0 Conversations

In any science class in any public school, the issue of wind resistance is often brought up. This is usually to explain why an experiment did not turn out the way the teacher told you it would. "Wind Resistance," they sniff. "If we could perform in a perfect vaccuum, THEN you'd see that r=qz squared."

Yet the children are never taught how to calculate the effects of wind resistance. I doubt it exists.
