Still Crazy - Film
Created | Updated Feb 12, 2003
Seventies rock band 'Strange Fruit' had everything that should make a legendary rock band: Money, Fame, Success, Groupies, a Front Man who overdosed in a Mini Chef, but divine intervention put an end to that as lightening struck the stage as they performed at the Wisbech Open Air Rock Festival leading to their acrimonious split.
Twenty years later as the former band members sink deep into obscurity the idea of a band reunion is planted in former keyboard player Tony Costello's (Stephen Rea) mind and he sets out to find and tempt the rest of the band back into the limelight with the help of former Manager and Groupie Karen Knowles (Juliet Aubrey) who is still dreaming of Brian Lovell (Bruce Robinson), the seemingly deceased lead singer of the Fruits.

100 watts too loud. 50 pills too many. 20 years too late?
A coming-of-middle-age comedy.
These middle-aged men won't let you down!
When the music still matters and the flame still burns, you're never too old to rock n roll.
They had it. They lost it. They want it back.
