Well, it is, isn't it? How are you supposed to have a favourite river? I don't have a favourite mountain or a favourite cave - why should I have a favourite river? You're all nuts...
I do quite favour the River Witham, though, because the inhabitants of Lincoln, through which it flows, spell it with four V's:
