A Conversation for Wonderful Rivers

The names of rivers aren't always unique.
The best example that springs to my mind is the river Don. Most of the world will know of it from Mikhail Sholokhov's brilliant novel "Quiet Flows the Don" about the Russian Revolution. The title takes its name from the Don as it flows through the plains of Russia, passed Stalingrad as was, and on into the Caspian Sea.
Where as to me the Don means a stinking ditch of waterway, full of industrial effluent, flowing through the centre of Sheffield.
