This Korean-American bombshell has long been a fave of the GLBT community in the states, but now that she is doing national tours and specials on cable, I expect everyone will have a chance to "discover" her. She is very good at making people laugh at racism, sexism, and general phobias acquired while growing up American with Korean parents. Most of her routines are subtle, but hilarious. It sometimes hurts to watch because once she gets rolling, you will not stop laughing for an hour. Also pretty much profanity free - even Mum will get a chortle. Highly recommended!

Myjo - Keeper of Decisions That Should Never be Made on Two Hours of Sleep

I beg to differ, but only slightly. While Cho is indeed hilarious, I would NOT recommend her stand-up to just anyone. It's been a while since I've seen her older shows, so I can't comment on them, but I just recently saw her latest endeavor. It was riddled with profanity and often focused on details of her sex life which I know a good many people would find highly offensive. It's a very funny show, and I do recommend it, but with caution. And certainly not to my mum! LOL

Whoops! All I can remember is that when my mom watched "I'm the one that I want," and she got to the part about her mom yelling "Mooran!" all over the neighborhood, she didn't stop laughing until she cried.

You're right tho. Notorious CHO did get a little blue.
