I once worked as a civilian contractor for the Army, and was required to attend an airshow. A minibus full of us duly arrived at Greenham Common, and were directed to the Provosts office. By pure chance, five of the guys were called Tailor, or Taylor. As each man went to the desk in turn to get his ID badge, and gave his name, the bloke behind the desk became more and more convinced that this was a wind up! When it come to my turn, he said "If you say your names bloody Tailor, I'll throw you all out!" Well, my names not Tailor, or Taylor, but he was so angry that he never realised that instead of signing access to the static park, he'd marked us for complete access, everywhere. So we had a nice day looking at some unusual aircraft.
