Picture Quiz: Pseudoscorpion - Answer
Answer: The pseudoscorpion is a hitchhiker! It has thumbed a ride on the fly. In addition to being totally hoopy, pseudoscorpions are helpful - they eat clothes moth larvae, carpet beetle larvae, booklice, ants, mites, and small flies. At 2-8 mm, they are kind of hard to notice. The largest known species, Garypus titanius, is only 12 mm long.
Nature is often complicated, but chill.
