Flaxen France

The fields continue to grow 'white with harvest', and Superfrenchie travels hopefully.
Flaxen France
Superfrenchie's been out in the French countryside, and she watched the flax being harvested. She writes:
There are quite a lot of linen fields up there, and the crop has just been cut, and is now left there on the field so that the rain/sunshine cycle makes the hard envelope around the fibers rot. Then it will be harvested and the fibers and seeds will be made ready for use.
Maybe next time if I go earlier in the year, I'll get pictures of the linen in bloom.
We hope you do, too, SF. We understand the flowers are lovely.
