Are you itching to visit far-away places?
Rothenburg ob der Tauber may be far-away and exotic to you, or it may be close. It's called 'ob der Tauber' because it's on the Tauber River. Not to be confused with Richard Tauber, or the innocent targets of vicious songwriters.
Anyway, Rothenburg is not famous for its river, its singers, or even its pigeons. What IS it famous for?
