Editing your own work 2
Created | Updated Aug 30, 2002
Lecturers require all work to be handed in on time. Students’ work must be checked thoroughly for spelling, punctuation and grammar. Students must word-process their assignments.
The spell checker on MS Word will not pick up errors like using the wrong word. You should read out your work to yourself, or perhaps you could ask someone else to read it, to see if it all makes sense.
In the lesson, I always go through the individual corrections explaining them and giving other examples of the same grammar point. [Thanks to Bels (Researcher188050) for reminding me to include this.]
