Adderbury for length,

Bloxham for strength,

and Kings Sutton for beauty.

Kings Sutton is a lovely village in Northamptonshire near the Oxfordshire border.

Although the local authority is South Northants District Council

addresses in the village have an OX postcode linked to Banbury .

One sign at the entrance to the village says Kings Sutton the other says King's Sutton.

The tall spire of the parish church of St Peter and St Paul can be seen from all directions and is floodlit at night.

Occasional concerts are held here including one recently by Fiori Musicali

There is also a Baptist Church

Lovers of classical music should also visit nearby Adderbury where the church is the venue for concerts by
The Adderbury Ensemble

The village has a rail station linking Banbury, Oxford and London.

This is served by Chiltern Railways and Thames Trains
and is between Junctions 10 and 11 of the M40 so has very good transport links.

Both the River Cherwell and the Oxford Canal are close by

See Area Map

There is a Primary School, post office and three pubs
The Butchers Arms

is the typical village local offering food including a good Sunday roast.

Facing the village green the White Horse is more bistro style offering very good but more expensive food.

The other pub is The Three Tuns .

There is a very useful Co-op store in the village which keeps open late.

The new Millennium Hall is the venue for a host of activities including coffee mornings, short-mat bowls

Antique Shows are held there monthly.

It is also the base for a weekly doctors surgery

The village is also the home of the Banbury District Branch of the Cats Protection League
