Hello All, I'm the Purple Moose and I have been honoured with the pleasure of taking over this project started by Ormondroyd (42), who has done a sterling job so far! (Round of applause!) I hope to carry it on in it's full glory and though not much will happen in the near future I will update after a while!
Behind each and every one of the links listed below, you'll find a website or web page dedicated to the band or artist named on the link. I've tried to include most of the world's biggest acts, as well as a few personal favourites of my own.
I've used official sites where possible. Failing that, I've looked for unofficial sites featuring personal input from the artists - or, in the case of the deceased, their family and friends.
In one instance I've BBC News pages because they were the best thing available on one important artist - and in another I've used a Guide Entry written by none other than DNA!
Many of the sites are so brilliantly designed that you can enjoy them even if you don't like the music they're promoting. So...
