As all sites in Iceland, no accomodation. The camping site is just a small piece of meadow on the side of a mountain hut (for which you have to book in advance). Anyway, there is one shower, about five toilets and three outdoor sinks. The site is quite on the beginning of Kjölur, an old way through the highlands, if you start from the South, and you have a beautiful view to the mountains. No souvenir shops, you have to bring your own of everything. But: if there are people staying in the hut (and - I hope so - Stèpàn is still having an eye on the hut through summer) you'll have a nice stay in the middle of nowhere and you'll enjoy it!
