Actually inside the city park that runs up to Cardiff Castle walls. Running water, washing machines etc, security cameras, within easy walking distance of the castle and city centre where shopping is good. Quiet, grassy, with sheltering trees. Easy access by road from outside the city, easy to get to attractions in the area. And- get this- dirt cheap. I mean, dirt cheap.
At least, as of 2000. It may have changed in the meantime.
