H2G2 London autum/winter meet 2010

7 Conversations

The London meets are always a good way to catch up with old friends, as well as meeting new researchers and forging new friendships, so both new meet atendees,
and those who have atended every meet over the last decade always enjoy the experience.

Oops we're a bit late organising this meet this time round (is that the noise of a deadline I hear wooshing by?) Please vote below in the voting threads so we can chose a date as soon as possible, I'd suggest towards the end of October or some time in November could be good, but its up to you to decide...

So Who's going?

Its always nice to know in advance just who is likely to be atending, so it'd be great if you are planning on atending if you could let us know in the Sign me up to the H2G2 Autumn/Winter meet 2010
sign up thread below.
Of course, your more than welcome to just
turn up on the day- the more the merrier!

Where

As tradition dictates, and due to transport issues, the main evening meet event will take place in a pub in Central London:
As for the past few meets, we will again be attending the:

Shakespeare's Head

Africa House,

64-68 Kingsway,

Holborn,

London,

WC2B 6BG.

The nearest tube is Holborn. This pub is literally just over the road from the tube station, and serves food all day, unfortunately the pub does not allow
dogs except for guide/assistance dogs.

It is strongly believed that some researchers will be in the pub from about midday/1 PM, with the others who take part in the main afternoon event arriving once
they are done: About 5 ore 6 PM we think. Information on the afternoon events to follow.

Who is going?

nighthoover of course.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
