A Conversation for Leprosy

Hello,
Congratulations on a very well put together entry.
I first came across leprosy as a 16 year old in school reading Stephen Donaldson's Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. The thing that struck me most - and something you allude to - is how extreme the prejudice against lepers is. I think the recent onset of AIDS on the world has highlighted to everyone the need to treat all people with respect - and to regard the disease and the person as seperate - not indivisible. I also think that it shames the western world that 6 million people still have this now curable disease.
Anyway, after that rant, well done on the entry.
Myriad.
