A Conversation for Nine Inch Nails - the Band

... also featured in a movie, playing keyboard in a bar-room band. I completely forget the name of the film, but I'll try and find it, if anyone's interested.

NIN also has the honour (?) of having probably the most active, intelligent and often downright fearsome Usenet newsgroup, alt.music.nin. Their FAQ does contain some priceless info not found elsewhere (or did - I haven't checked it in a while).

NIN is the longest enduring favourite band of mine (although Tool are pushing for top spot at the moment). Top of my wish list is an official video release of their gig from the Kentish Town Forum in 1994 - absolutely awe-inspiring, and they played songs that'll probably never be aired live again - Dead Souls, Help Me/Slavery, etc...

Cool entry - now I just want the live DVD to get a UK release. Trent is such a tease...

It certainly was. All hail the power of the Imdb...

Sadly, I have not yet seen the movie, so I don't know how good it is or how recognisable Trent is.

it's probably obscure enough that finding it will become yet another lifetime challenge... but my business is movies and music so i must accept. smiley - biggrin

Good luck!

Perhaps a review may be in order when you find it? To satisfy my curiosity, if nobody elses...
