In the 60's LT used to put out something called the 'All Services Map' which was in the same format as the bus maps of the time, but had everything on it - red buses, green line, and underground, which of course meant that underground had to be shown geographically. I think I've still got it somewhere, and to give you an idea of its timeframe, I had to draw the Victoria line onto it

It wasn't what you'd call comprehensive - it didn't include every single bus route. It's a long time since I've looked at it, and I'm hoping it's not one of the things I unloaded when I emigrated... I'm sure I would have kept it, but which of the boxes in the shed it might be in? Who can say

In Leeds the main bus company (First Bus or something like that) has produced an underground-style map of its bus routes, which can be seen painted on the sides of some of the buses along with the slogan "Turn up and go on the Overground".
