Sure I recall a case from my time at law school were a jury was held to be in comtempt in a murder case because they used a ouji board to get in touch the victim. Held to be illegal cos jurors aren't allowed to communicate with anyone whilst in the jury room... I'm not making this up, just wish i could name the case

The case you're referring to is that of R -v- Stephen Young (1995) 2 WLR 430.
It appears that in the eyes of the judiciary the ouija is a medium for communication...
