A Conversation for Mother's Day Presents
Mother's Day
women in black Started conversation Mar 6, 2002
Speaking as a mother, I really don't like Mother's Day. The goodnight kiss I get from each child every night is a better present than any purchased card, bunch of flowers, box of chocolates or Mother's Day brunch could ever be. And I don't like to eat my breakfast in bed!
The only Mother's Day gifts worth receiving are the ones handmade by young children. Nothing purchased, nothing organized -- indeed, if possible, nothing done just because of Mother's Day!
- A Canadian Mother who doesn't like Valentine's Day either (Mother's Day is a Sunday in May here, but I can't recall which one)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
