Created | Updated Jan 28, 2002
This section will elaborate on the final US military (NATO) and diplomatic involvement in the Balkans, beginning from 1993 and up to 1995 with the Dayton Agreement, which ended the wars in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. The chapter will also try and explain the reasons for the higher efficiency of the US in dealing with the warring parties than that of the EU. It will also delve into the motivation of the US government Clinton administration for involvement in the conflict after the previous total abstention.
