Hoogie is a term used to explain that which you feel not the need to explain.... i.e: "the hoogie-ma-whats-it that makes the thingie do the stuff".
Or "What's on your mind?"
"Hoogie."
Generally used in those conversations (from my experence) that entail the long silences that you wish to break, like relationship starting conversations for example.
In general hoogie is a word that was started by a female to confuse a male, or to fob him off into thinking that he was out smarted.
It has a million uses and a billion conatations.
