Oh, you can't be serious there? I mean, yes, we all love kitsch, but there are limits!
I always knew that Bavarians could not be trusted, especially on matters of taste, and Neuschwanstein Castle just proves my point. And in my X-Files moods, I am beginning so suspect that the castle was only built for American tourists...

so you're assuming that Neuschwanstein is an alien base for intergalactic travel? Missile starters disguised as towers?

No no, it is a great idea:
The Armed Forces will be happy to use their toys, just once.
The County will be happy to build a shopping center there.
The Construction Industry will be happy to build it for the county.
The Tourism Industry will be happy about all the visitors who want to see the ruins.
The Government will be happy to pay for everything and thus have a reason to raise taxes.
So, winners on all sides. And *one* upset Bossel will not be any real obstacle...
