People rave in womens magazines about the virtues of feng shui, explaining how it isn't a bunch of mystical mumbo-jumbo and is obviously founded on the most sensible of building advice ("don't put a toilet in the living room", "have windows facing south/east/whatever for sun/no sun/whatever combination of neither"). This confusion led a good friend of mine to sum up nicely the appeal of it all: "If you turn architecture into a religion you have feng shui"
B****y architects!
