One of my favourite signs is a piece of paper stuck on a classroom door with the phrase 'Ceci n'est pas une salle de classe' scrawled on it.

Maybe. But how do we *prove* that is was asserting its own existence? How do we know it exists? Is it purely through us acknowledging its existence that it exists? If we didn't, would it just "vanish in a puff of logic"?
