    Static electricity what is it?

    Static electricity is a charge that builds up in one place unlikr normal electricity it is can be created by simply rubing to apropriot materials together try a ballon and your jumper (wool for prefrenc) after 20 or so rubs you can get the ballon to stick to the celling this is static electricity working. static electrictity has been known to kill. For example a static build up on an oil tanker could triger a fire Whoomph!!
