Roger Milla became the oldest man to score in the final stages (post qualifications) of the world cup when he scored against Russia in the '94 world cup at the age of 42. This would make him 49 now.

Quite a long career - especially when you consider that he was African footballer of the year .... in 1975!

Dunx is trekking in Lesotho and incommunicado till the end of the month, but I seem to remember the man in question with a shirt that said Mila (we left Cameroon in 1986)

Fairly sure that in the last game of USA '94 he wore a shirt with Miller on the back. He'd had to write it out himself because the Cameroon FA didn't have any shirts left for the final group game! Something to do with FIFA refusing to let them wear a new design of shirt. I assume that this trophy is now in the possession of the opposing centre half.
