Congratulations on having a front page article the day we left and one the day we came back.Cameroon are currently doing rather well in their World Cup Group, as you doubtless know,even though most of them don't look old enough to play for the senior team

They seem to be the best side in Africa again, which must be a source of significant pride. (no pun intended...oh, OH then, it was )
There only real competition are Nigeria and RSA...but with 2 qualifying spots to go for, I'd say there a shoe-in (unlike Ireland, who I still ahven't managed to see live ).

Did pretty well this year, didn't they? A player whose name escapes me has just been named African footballer of the year to boot ()

Rigobert Song? Captained Cameroon to the African Nations Cup victory over Nigeria but really didn't perform for Liverpool. Don't know where he is now - I've a feeling it's in Italian league though.

The match against Brazil hardly counts as a bad result as none of the players who play in European leagues were released for it.
