AURA

I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan, USA, where many Finnish immigrants founded towns. One of these near my camp is named Aura. I have been told that Aura is a not so often Finnish word for plow and it's nice to know that it is also a river. The Finns who founded Aura had been kicked out of the copper mines after going on strike and eeked out a living growing what food they could after clearing the land. Every year people come from all over the US attend the Aura Jamboree, a folk music festival.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
