Cafe Reggio, Greenwich Village, New York City, USA

2 Conversations

Located near the intersection of MacDougal and West 3rd Streets, Cafe Reggio has been serving espressos to the area's jittery populace since 1927. The original owner supposedly imported the first espresso machine into America. It's also claimed that he introduced the cappucino to America (or at least the Village). In any case, it's a dingy but charming place to idle away a few hours day or night while you watch the bustle of the City outside.
