THE BAR in the city of Richmond, capital of the South, all that jazz. No more resembles the old south than does a truckload of Mets fans from Queens. Unbelievable food that seems to come from beyond, as opposed to the tiny apparent kitchen. A great crowd, attentive bartenders, great waitresses (if a little short-tempered). The place to go to have a great time.
Most hopping on Thursday and Friday nights. Beware - after about 9, the music is loud (often unjustifiably so, based upon the crowd size), and it gets difficult to get a table, as the drinking crowd has settled in until closing time at 2.
