Where tube trains go to die..

Post 1

Neil J Tarrabt

Like so many retiring ex-professionals a number of tube trains visit the Isle of Wight to die, running on the small remaining 'Island Line'.

Incidentaly this is also the most 'efficient' train system in the UK, as it is very unlikely that a train can be 5 minutes late with a maximum journey time of 40 minutes.

Well it must be nearly 20 years ago now but I saw some what looked like new tube train carriages in Tyseley railway station Birmingham.

i do not know if there are any in the museum. I used to work quite close to Tyseley station, but never visited the museum. I have visited York Railway museum and that is a marvellous place to visit.

I've been tempted to go to the York museum since they managed to get their hands on a bullet train...that would be something to see
