Author Robert Rankin used Mornington Crescent Station (which was closed for refurbishment at the time he first used it) as the secret base for the mysterious Ministry of Serendipity in his book Apocalypso. It's also a very nice station if you ask me.

Can anyone who regularly uses Mornington Crescent station please confirm or deny that there is now a memorial plaque to Willy Rushdon in it somewhere? If not, why not?

I read they put up a plaque in March. It was mentioned on the London Underground page of the London Metro at the time. http://www.thetube.com/content/metro/02/0203/12/ is the online version of the page.
