To My Endless Valentine
Created | Updated Mar 5, 2009
My dear endless love:
You know I love you.
I always have done, and
I always will do.
Our hearts beat together
Although we're apart,
For what is such distance
To warm loving hearts?
Such distance is said
To make hearts grow fonder -
There need not be sorrow
When one has gone yonder.
For such endless love
Is not measured in sorrow,
Nor angst that is felt
If we part on the morrow.
And our hearts do know
We will meet soon again -
They draw love from pleasure
And not mutual pain.
Remember each heartbeat
Is one in such number
That a moment apart
Is no worse than a slumber.
Each heartbeat records
Just a moment in time
But I'll always be yours, and
You'll always be mine.
