A Conversation for Non-alcoholic Drinks

Fermentabulous!

I don't know if this is relevent, or even true, but I've been told that if you leave non-alcoholic beers, wines, etc for long enough they ferment and become alcoholic.

Anyone else heard of this?

How could this revelation affect society as a whole?

If a yeast gets into them certainly.

This commonly happens with fruit juices especially apple / orange juices which naturally contain some yeast if the yeast is not completly killed by pasturisation before packing.

By the way the results are not likly to be palatable as the yeasts concerned are not the ones normally used in brewing and therefore tend to produce more "off" flavours.
