A Conversation for Fairy Tales

Hello troops
The noted chappie Bruno Bettelheim wrote a very interesting child-developmental analysis of fairytales called The Uses of Enchantment. I can recommend this to anyone who is interested in the subject. Also good is the Virago Book of Fairytales edited by Angela Carter (I think). Even though Carter is a talentless writer of pulp fictions this is still a good read. And please also read The Holy Sinner by Thomas Mann because it's good.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
