Megatron who in G1 can change into a pistol is now a tank, and the being called lazerbeak, in G1 a decepticon connected to soundwave and can turn into a cassette tape, is now an autobot and turns into either a digital video camera or a stun gun and there is a third race of transforming robots called mini-cons they according to the cartoon network show can "power link" to either autobot or decepticon and increace the power of the transformer in question.
