Not to be confused with chipmunks, who themselves should not be confused with chimpanzees. In fact here’s a word of warning: if ever you do get confused about CHP’s, chipmunks and chimpanzees do not attempt to discuss this confusion with CHP’s themselves. Because we’re talking The Californian Highway Patrol, dramatised in recent decades by fine series such as 'ChiPs'. Highway patrolmen always have incredible bodies and wear Fruit of the Loom briefs to avoid VPL. CHP men, unlike cops, wear gold watches before their retirement. They do not, however, eat donuts. Don't need to when they've got a hog between their legs.
