you don't mention any of the medical causes. bleeding diatheses, Kiesselbach's plexus, hypertension for example. also the difference between anterior and posterior epistaxis, and the medical treatments.

also infection is a major cause - for this reason antibiotic cream/ointment is often prescribed for recurrent/severe epistaxis
