A Conversation for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Composer
Mozarts grave

Mozart was buried at Vienna´s Saint Marx graveyard in an unnamed grave. The monument you can find there now was built almost a century later. There is no graveyard at St.Stephen's Cathedral. In 1791 all former graveyards within the city walls had been closed for a long time. Saint Marx graveyard is situated in the 3rd district of Vienna, next to the train line that runs from the center to the airport. It is a very quiet and romantic place to visit, with very old graves (the cemetary is not in use since many decades). Ask somebody for Mozart's grave. To go there, use tram lines 18,71 or 72.
