Vardy Hunting 05 - a Strange addition to the fight

Here is a copy of the note to CTC HQ...
Are you aware that one of your colleges in Gateshead actively promotes the teaching of the Christian minority belief of "Creationism" within the context of Science lessons.
Creationism is not a science it is a belief....if it must be discussed then the proper place is in religious instruction surely!
One of your collegues from Gateshead...Ian Palmer (Academies Division)...seems completely unaware of the difference between science and belief...and what is more he seems to be supporting the 'scientist' responsible for this dangerous and damaging attempt at usurping and confusing secular science courses with a dubious unsupported, non-evidential belief !
What is CTC's policy on this ridiculous situation?
Do you at least intend to investigate the complaint?
Does the CTC's support this gross misdirection of childrens education?
Will you inform the college in question that they have commited a flagarent disregard to the Funding agreement with the Secretary of state?
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools will be informed and the complaint will be upheld that is very clear... if no action is taken internally to discipline the authority in this school...this lunacy must cease!
Teach creationism, if you must, but in a religious context confined only to a religious class it has absolutely no place in a genuine science based discipline class, as I am sure that you are aware!
Ofsted does not surprise me in their duplicity...I believe Mr C.Woodhead was not their finest moment! And they seem to have been accelerating down hill ever since...they have done absolutely zilch over the debacle of private examination fiasco's witnessed for the last few years...and I am sure they have the clout..they seem unsure which way is up!
>>I await a response with interest.
