Towels, why I shouldn't forget mine

0 Conversations

I have just been on a British Army Cadet Force camp, and it was wet. THat's why I thought I should write an article about the importance to an Englishman of not neglecting the words from the great book. More than anything, rather than actually wanting to dry myself with it, a thick towel acts as a good windbreak for the stove. Also, it stops the rain and wind, hail, snow, stones and other people's litter coming in at one end of your makeshift tent. Just do *NOT* forget your towel. ;-) Also, it's always good to pack a towel. The towel even beats the incredibly useful sticky tape, string and plastic bags for usefulness. Also, they come in a range of great designs, unlike any of the above. Forget all the other problems in England. This is the real hard fact. England just needs more towels.

The other reason I need them is to give shade. A thick towel gives enough shade to prevent sunburn in extreme heat.
