If you are coming to Chetwynd to get some kind of action and excitement... turn around. You are not going to find that in Chetwynd. However, you will find a very nice place to live and relax.

If you are looking for a nice spot for a drink, check out Murray's Pub, it is a very nice old style pub, a great place to relax, and have a bite to eat. If you are looking for a place to stay while you are there, the hotels aren't very nice. Of course like almost every other place on the planet, there is a 7-11 ¹, which is great if you have to munchies, or just need a soft drink. The best place of all to relax though, is outside of some grey building as you are leaving town towards Prince George. There is a great spot to sit up there and just stare at the stars.

Go to Chetwynd if you are looking for a great place to just mellow out and relax.
