A Conversation for Firefly - The TV series
Great entry, fantastic series.

I heard about firefly through word of mouth. What a brilliant well-written show it was. Such a shame it was cancelled. There were no stereotypes, no typical scenarios. As it's sci-fi people look down on it which is a shame. He's a brilliant writer, the characters he creates are rich and interesting.
Wheadon is certainly a man who is interested and knows about people, he gets under the skin of those he puts in his stories and it doesn't matter whether he's writing for a male or female character.
I love the quickfire, sharp dialogue that's so lacking in general tv and especially most sci-fi.
It's a testamant to the man's talent and determination that he actually got this movie made and that it's been so successful in the UK even though very few here have watched the series.
